The Young Scientists of Australia (Sydney Chapter) is a non-profit volunteer organisation that is dedicated to the promotion ... of science to the youth of Australia. The organisation often works with a variety of organisations such as major universities, museums and other science outreach groups to coordinate and staff various science outreach programs. The organisation operates independently however has sister chapters in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide and often interstate events and opportunities occur. Members within the organisation range from 14-26 years of age and consist of a variety of individuals from fields both science and non-science related that share a passion of the importance of STEM within society. read more
