YouthMindsAlliance (YMA) is a mental health organization with the goal of providing and raising awareness of free resources t ... o educate young adults about the importance of mental well-being and self-development. Our team has members nationwide, ranging from the West to East Coast. We’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with many notable guest speakers, and professors from top universities such as UC Irvine, UC Berkeley, and Stanford University, who committed to being guest speakers for the organizations workshops, and events. Our first event took place virtually, and had more than 100 registrants from Southern California. Additionally, we spoke at the California Children Trust’s conference, a statewide conference on youth mental health, on behalf of CA youth with 291 registrants. YMA has also been recognized by U.S. Congress Representatives and California State Senate for suicide prevention campaigns. Currently, our team is in the works of advocating and creating an initiative to provide peer-to-peer support programs on school grounds at the district, county, state, and national levels.
