The Year in Industry Team are a dedicated team within the Faculty of Engineering, who support students with their search for ... and during their Year in Industry year. We offer specific Engineering Placement related information and support, with CVs, Cover Letters, as well as advertising vacancies from our industrial contacts. Within the Frederick Mappin building, we also run the Employability Hub, located in the Heartspace area. This is a space dedicated to employability for Faculty of Engineering students. It is can be used* for one to one sessions with a member of the team, pop up sessions with employers, interview space, drop in sessions with the Careers Service, Global Opportunities and University of Sheffield Services. *Note this is subject to lockdown and social distancing restrictions. This page will be used to share messages with our students, as well as connect with our wider industrial and alumni networks.
