In the early 1970s, John realized there was a need for a warehousing division to better service their already existing customers. Santa Clara Warehouses, Inc. was soon born, and has developed into a major player in the Northern California warehousing industry. Yandell Truckaway Inc. and Santa Clara Warehouses Inc. give wine, food, and beverage industries "one-stop shopping," for transportation and storage. In 2005, the third generation of the Yandell Truckaway, Inc. family business was incepted, with Alicia Yandell, daughter of John, joining the business.
