Who We Are We are women who support women. The WFE was initially founded in 1990 in Atlanta so that women active in the financial arena could assemble to discuss business issues and build upon their referral bases. Formed in 1998, the Dallas chapter of the WFE is comprised of professionals, attorneys, accountants, lenders, principals, investment bankers and agents involved in mergers, acquisitions, financings and other deal activities. To date membership stands at over 100. What We Do Our monthly events include luncheons that feature guest speakers addressing various topics that directly impact women and a variety of other networking events. A portion of proceeds from our Annual Derby Day benefits the Texas Women’s Foundation in their efforts to support at-risk women and girls in their community. To date, the WFE has contributed over $200,000 to this charitable organization. read more
