One of the original three faculties, Western Science has advanced the scientific frontier through research and training for more than 130 years. Our eight departments are filled with the curiosity, vision and expertise of 194 researchers and instructors spanning myriad disciplines, from the actuarial sciences, applied mathematics, data analytics and computer science to geophysics and planetary science, environmental science, cellular biology, genetics, synthetic chemistry, and medical physics.
