Essential Functions • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products and capabilities, and to provide sales support. • Sell products requiring extensive technical expertise and support for installation and use, such as material handling equipment, concrete forms, and general steel fabrication. • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers. • Build Company awareness in general about specific, targeted markets • Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs. • Share sales-related or market information with colleagues. • Discuss design or technical features of products or services with technical personnel. • Coach inside sales representatives regarding account information and how to service the customer base more effectively • Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established in fiscal annual forecast, budget and goals • Develop and maintain relationships with assigned customers, including key accounts • Ensure follow-up with customers on orders and inquiries • Ensure customer satisfaction • Address and resolve customer complaints on a timely basis • Act as a professional representative of Wadco Industries at all times • Other duties and responsibilities as required Required Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent • 5 years of sales and marketing experience. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. • 5 years of customer service experience. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. • Engineering and technological knowledge. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services with a background in formwork design and the application of use. • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook read more
