The WAKeMeUP project objective is to set-up a pilot line for advanced microcontrollers with embedded non-volatile memory, des ... ign and manufacturing for the prototyping of innovative applications for the smart mobility and smart society domains. The 3-years project will run from the 1st of May 2018 until the 30th of April 2021. To achieve this goal of generating high value added semiconductor circuits in Europe, in a breakthrough leading edge technology, the 3-years project will deploy all the necessary activities to bring a new technology to an early industrial maturity stage. In the WAKeMeUP project, new devices and systems will be developed by the application partners in automotive and secure based on FD-SOI and embedded digital technology to answer specific applications needs. WAKeMeUP consortium gathers 18 partners from 5 countries in Europe of which 1 is SME, 8 academics or RTO and 6 large Enterprises (STMicroelectronics France combined 5 different ST sites) WAKeMeUP has been accepted for funding within the Electronic Components and Systems For European Leadership Joint Undertaking in collaboration with the European Union's H2020 Framework Programme (H2020/2014-2020) and National Authorities, under grant agreement n° 783176. read more
