Overall IT remained a privilege which was targeted for large enterprises only. ----- What happened around 2011 ----- It was June 2011 when a disruption happened and it changed every equation on how we deal with technology today. Office 365 was introduced as a Service (SaaS), it was easy to try out SharePoint online and was available through Cloud based subscription model. With the advent of cloud, suddenly all businesses had access to latest and greatest software. Organization using Office365 were simply unware of the untapped power of Office365, mainly SharePoint Online which can host Applications, bring workflows and provide visual reporting using variety of techniques. ----- Why WAi exists ----- After spending 13 years with enterprise customer mainly to build and rollout their collaboration platform, it was a right time to focus on SME’s, who were paying for Office365/SharePoint plans without realizing its full potential. We realized the crucial role we could play in this scenario. And so, Wai was formed by Solution Architects who were passionate about providing solutions. We had two key parameters in mind: 1. Business Growth 2. Return on investment We built and launched our first SharePoint app on the office store in 2013 and this product was called Knowledge Exchange which received lots of interest and downloads by SharePoint users. Spurred by the response and feedback from users, we redesigned and released its new avatar in 2017 calling it IN REACH which is a business process and workflow automation tool. ----- What we do now ----- IN REACH is ready to serve the 100 million+ customers who are already on Office365 / SharePoint. read more
