W Racing Team, known as Team WRT, is a professional autosport racing team, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Baudour, Belg ... ium. The team was created following the initiative of former racing driver Vincent Vosse and entrepreneur Yves Weerts. Today the team is run by the Co-CEO team Kathleen Schurmans and Vincent Vosse. In 2020 the team runs race programs in GT World Challenge Europe, DTM, Intercontinental GT Challenge, ADAC GT Masters and others. Its 3 main Business Units are: 1. Racing Services: GT, DTM 2. Manufacturing and Distribution: Fun Cup, AMP 3. Driver Management WRT is based in Baudour, Belgium. It's subsidiary AMP is based in Stavelot (Francorchamps). The company has invested in state-of-the-art racing cars, equipment and infrastructure as well as in a strong team to be able to offer a premium racing experience to its clients. The services of WRT consist in preparing, servicing and registering race cars for participation in various races and championships. In few years, the company established itself as one of the preferred partners of the VW Group for participation in GT (Audi) and TCR series (VW) around the world winning several prestigious races and trophies. WRT has also developed a strong relationship with VW for the distribution of the EVO3’s version of the VW Fun Cup. In this capacity, WRT sells and build Fun Cup’s cars, “EVO3”-kits and as well as different spare parts. In 2015, WRT acquired AMP, a renowned manufacturer of rolling cages and chassis reinforcements. This acquisition enhanced the capacity of the WRT group to construct Fun Cup’s cars with the latest standards and technology. WRT is offering management services to a selected number of promising drivers, assists in the development of their career as professional racing drivers.
