Study Association of Aeronautical Engineering Sipke Wynia is the student association of the education Aeronautical Engineerin ... g at the University of Applied Sciences Inholland in Delft. The board and the commissions of the association organize a variety of activities for these members. The activities consist of symposia, excursions to aviation-related enterprises nationally and internationally, an America tour, visits to air shows, workshops and various socializing activities and parties. The symposia that are held once every year always have a different topic. Some examples are: Innovation in aviation, Turning technology into business, Sustainable aviation, Composites, Jet propulsion powering aviation and Safety in the sky. Sponsors can set up a stand at these symposia and speakers can be invited by the association to deliver a presentation on a related topic. Furthermore, V.S.V Sipke Wynia also takes care of some of the other aspects of a student’s life. For instance, book sales are arranged. The study association also helps in finding a suitable internship, organizes an introduction weekend for the first year students and a variety of lustrum activities. Sipke Wynia, is meant to create a solid group of students, to let the education go by in a smooth way, to increase affinity with aviation and to ensure that ultimately every student finishes his/her education with a Bachelor Degree. read more
