Welcome to the Virginia Tech Women’s Club. The VTWC was founded in 1965 and serves as a support organization for Virginia Tec ... h and the VT community. Our mission is to expand the intellectual and social horizons of our members, provide scholarships to current VT students, and promote the interests of Virginia Tech. Club members share educational, social, and service-related activities. Our motto is “Enriching Lives Together” Members support our VTWC Scholarship Fund and have donated $130,550 since 1973 to 107 deserving VT students. We also have a VTWC Learn and Serve Group that provides resources and volunteers throughout our VT community. In addition, VTWC sponsors club events featuring speakers from the community, an active Travel and Tours group, and 20 special interest groups for our members ranging from Hiking to Bridge! VTWC hosts monthly “Friday Forums” that are free and open to the public featuring a broad array of lectures on topical issues.
