Founded in 1984 in Vancouver, BC VIA expanded to the U.S. in Seattle in 2001 and opened a third office in the Bay Area (now in Oakland) in 2014. Our three offices work collaboratively to share ideas and support across all aspects of our operations – from design delivery to thought research - and currently employ more than 70 architecture, planning, design and business professionals. As of July 2021, we are pleased to announce the merger of Perkins Eastman and VIA Architecture. This union of our two firms provides an opportunity for collaboration across our firms’ disciplines and studios.
