Our current efforts in eco-friendly practices includes a proposed heating project with Beaverwood Energy in Fairhaven, Vermont. This project will create a combined heat, electricity and food facility. Vermont Hydroponic will utilize the waste heat, waste water and low-grade steam to promote growth of our plants, therefore creating an eco-friendly and symbiotic relationship. We also work with GrowersHub, a collective of growers and producers working together to provide wholesale clients with ease of access to regionally sourced products by creating a centralized pick up location and a single invoice, effectively eliminating carbon emissions and bolstering the local economy. Last but not least, we've created the CustomGro program. We provide schools, businesses or other institutions with the designs they need to grow hydroponically right in their own yards. We are revolutionizing the food industry from the ground up by supporting local, and supporting the tremendous need for sustainability in our world.
