Velissario Football Club (A.O.V.) is a non profit amateur football club based in Ioannina, Greece. Originally established in ... 1979, Football Club Velissario or A.O.V. achieved to win all local amateur championships as well as to participate in Greek 3rd Division and Greek Cup between 1992 & 1996. Velissario was one of the first clubs in Ioannina which run Youth Academies back in 1985. It is estimated that approximately 1000 players have played for Velissario or its Youth Academies over the 30+ years of the club's existence. Velissario has won the local champion twice over the last 3 years (2012-13 and 2014-15) as well as the Super Cup of Epirus Football Union (2015).
