This involves project-managing the design, specification and custom-building of sludge tankers, high volume jetters, insulated aerial platforms, tracked pole carriers and crane wagons for example as well as mobile community library and customer engagement vehicles. All fleet vehicles are supported throughout their lifetime and customers receive a fast response whatever they need from our commercial team, fleet management contact centre and our regional network of nine maintenance workshops. From scheduling routine services and maintenance inspections to booking short term hire vehicles and organising emergency tyre and glass replacement, roadside recovery and accident management, VLS people are committed to keeping fleets fully operational around the clock. VLS is also fully certified to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 providing a well organised operation dedicated to delivering quality, safety, compliance and operational efficiency for our customers.
