The UW A Cappella Club is Canada's largest University A Cappella organization, with upwards of 200 members over the course of ... a year and 5 different permanent a cappella groups to join. Founded in 2010, UWACC exists in order to support the existence, growth and development of the a cappella groups we represent, and foster the development of a cappella at the University of Waterloo. We put on concerts at the end of each school term, featuring each of our main groups. The UW A Cappella Club's groups are participants in Varsity Vocal's International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. Since 2011, the Club has sent 6 groups to the ICCA, with 3 groups representing the club at the Semifinals level and one group ascending to top-10 in the 2017 ICCA Finals. The UW A Cappella Club is an organization under the University of Waterloo's Federation of Students. The Club is run entirely by volunteers, devoting their time and expertise to creating high-quality a cappella musical experiences for the UWaterloo community. read more
