UQS works towards creating an ... opportunity for aspiring engineers and scientists to go beyond what is taught in a classroom setting. Bridging the gap between university and industry through outreach, research, practical experience and collaboration. As the first and only in Queensland; UQS student members design, build (and launch) rockets, rovers and research technologies. This provides undergraduate students at UQ with the opportunity to directly apply knowledge obtained during their studies.
