Initialize is a recognized student organization at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and we are dedicated to serving the Li ... ncoln community and to the development of professional skills of computer science and engineering students. Initialize offers its members leadership training, professional and academic development, mentoring opportunities, community service outreach programs, and opportunities to be more involved in the community. Initialize is bigger than just a student group. We are a movement. We are a movement that is working to inspire involvement, service, and professional development all throughout the community. We constantly seek to provide meaningful opportunities for undergraduate students and the stakeholders we interact with. We hope to serve as a model for groups in other fields and help define what it means to use and develop our professional skills to create new opportunities for or meet the unmet needs of our communities.
