Starting off with the Human Centered Robotics Programme, we are now working towards a Robotics Center, which will be an inspi ... ring ecosystem with attracting world class facilities and scientists where the engineers of the future are formed in synergy with involved industries. Within the Robotics programme more than 15 research groups at the University of Twente are able to address all main aspects of modern robotics. For the development of integral solutions, they are able to address both technological and nontechnological aspects. The research focusses on the design and use of robots that physically interact with their environment, and with people in those environments. Primary application areas lay within the health sector, robotics for industrial maintenance and inspection, and agro domains. read more
