It is registered as a United Network foundation in the Netherlands. United Network is a social network developed and run by staff for staff working for not-for-profit organizations worldwide. It operates at a no-cost basis and applies an open membership policy complemented by high privacy and ethical standards. There is no data sharing with private companies. UnitedNetwork.org aims at building an online community of professionals from the international non-profit sector worldwide. It is designed for people who are in service or who have worked, volunteered, interned, or consulted at non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international organizations and the United Nations (UN). UnitedNetwork.org enables humanitarian workers throughout the globe to share information, ideas and personal messages and thus create an online community based on shared interests, nationality and/or profession.
