UniBo Motorsport is the official Formula SAE/Student Team of the University of Bologna. The team, born just in 2008, began ra ... cing in 2010 and, in a 5 years lifetime and 3 cars builded, already achieved great results in several European competitions attended, results that one can see on our website www.unibomotorsport.com. In 2014 the team took part at the first non-European competition (first Italian team attempt), racing at the Formula SAE Brasil (achieving the first victory of an Italian team in a Formula SAE competition, since the championship born) thanks to the following results: - 1st place in Business Plan, - 2nd place at the Design Finals Event, - 2nd place in Cost Report, - 1st place in Acceleration (new record for UniBo Motorsport and for South America's combustion teams), - 4th place in Skid Pad, - Autocross best chrono, - 1st place in combustion category, - "Best 2014 Italian SAE Chapter" award. In 2016 the team took part at Formula SAE Italy, Formula Student Czech Republic and Formula Student Hungary and achieved: -4th place in Business Plan (IT), -Teoresi Group "Engine Calibration and Control Award" (IT), -7th place in Business Plan (CZ), -5th place in design Event (CZ), -3rd place in Acceleration (CZ), -6th place in Fuel Economy (CZ), -9th place overall (CZ), -Audi Hungaria "Digital Future Award" In 2017 the team at the Formula SAE Italy won: -7th place in Design Report, -3rd place in Acceleration Test, -5th place overall.
