Under Canvas® began when Sarah’s love affair with the African safari experience married Jacob’s talent for design. Together they decided to create a glamping company that would serve as a bridge to the outdoors in a very unique way. The Under Canvas® brand was founded in 2009 with the opening of Sage Safaris, an all-inclusive Montana safari experience. Under Canvas® luxury camping experiences were established when we opened our first glamping resort just outside of Yellowstone National Park in 2012.
