It offers 24/7 service through Customer Account Managers and Customer Service Managers that are assigned to our clients. There is also a duty surveyor available out of hours to assist when a client requires it. UKSR is currently implementing the necessary changes to be more customer and commercially focused. Through partnership with shipowners, it is working towards Safer Lives, Safer Ships, and Cleaner Seas. It is one of the best performing flags in the major Port State Control regimes, supported by its position on the Paris and Tokyo MoU White Lists. It is also included on the US Coast Guard Qualship 21 Initiative which recognises high-quality ships and encourages outstanding operations. UK Flagged vessels are rarely targeted for Port State Control inspections as the UK Flag meets Paris MoU flag criteria for low risk ships.
