WiCS was established in 2005 by Elena Jakubiak, who is currently a Principal Software Engineer at iRobot. The club experienced some inactive years until Winnona De Sombre and Alice Lee re-formulated WiCS and created our current structure in 2015. Ever since, WiCS has been growing through our different opportunities for students to network (Clusters and the Mentorship Program), on-campus events (Lunch and Learns, Tech Talks, Workshops, and Social Events), and our annual Women in Tech Conference. read more
