In addition Tronair manufactures many specialty items required by the aircraft OEM's for building aircraft. History In 1971, Danair was founded from the Dana Corporation flight department. The first products manufactured were towbars for the Learjet, Falcon jet and Gulfstream GI. Danair added more product lines to assist customers, including jacks and hydraulic power units, and continued to grow. In 1980 Danair was acquired by Tronco. The company changed its name to Tronair after the acquisition and moved from a 5,000 square foot facility in Maumee, Ohio to its present location in Toledo, Ohio.
