TriDurLE was established in 2019 as one of the seven National UTCs funded by the University Transportation Center Program of ... U.S. Department of Transportation, and the only National Center focusing on “Improving the Durability and Extending the Life of Transportation Infrastructure.” At TriDurLE, we believe that durability is a cornerstone of sustainability. The partnerships underlying this National UTC is based on the shared vision of “cost-effective innovations and holistic solutions to enhance multimodal infrastructure durability.” The Consortium universities represent diverse geographic and climatic regions, and are thus well positioned to explore cost-effective and whole-life-cycle solutions to infrastructure durability and life-extension. read more
