Toronto Swing Dance Society is a not-for-profit community organization, dedicated to providing a friendly & informal social d ... ance environment. We welcome all levels of dancers. Founded in 1989, TSDS is Canada's longest running and largest Swing Dance group. We offer fun filled events & high quality instruction, priced so everyone can enjoy swing dancing. No need to bring a partner! During each lesson we “rotate” partners constantly so that everyone gets an equal chance to dance, as well as the benefit of leading or following many other dancers. Our monthly Friday Dances feature all styles of swing dance music, a little Latin, ballroom and even a 2Step or two, The style of lessons varies from dance to dance and usually includes a beginner & intermediate lesson. Each of our weekly Monday Night Lessons Series runs for 5 weeks, and also includes beginner & intermediate classes, with the style of dance varying from one series to the next.
