Our founders John Landstrom, Don Van Auken and Glenn Wilson set out to become the airfreight cartage and trucking market leaders in Portland, Oregon. In 1972, Glenn purchased the interests of the other two founders, and over 50 years later many of our original clients continue to be valued partners — a testament to our commitment to service and tradition of being laser focused on our customers’ needs. In 1998, the two original companies were combined and re-named TITAN Freight Systems®. This change corresponded with an expansion of our business model to offer a new brand of transportation leadership. We leveraged our dominance in providing time-sensitive services in the Portland metropolitan area to becoming the premier overnight Less-than-TruckLoad (LTL) carrier in the region.
