The firm has four of­fices in Ger­many and one of­fice in Asia. Since its es­tab­lish­ment in 1973 in Stuttgart the firm has grown steadi­ly and now com­pris­es over 50 lawyers and two no­taries. Ad­vice is main­ly pro­vid­ed on trans­ac­tions in­volv­ing banks and in­sur­ance com­pa­nies, au­to­mo­tive sup­pli­ers, en­gi­neer­ing com­pa­nies, en­ter­tain­ment and me­dia com­pa­nies, phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal com­pa­nies and com­pa­nies in­volved in the re­al es­tate and con­struc­tion sec­tor. Giv­en the strict le­gal frame­work and the in­creas­ing­ly liti­gious en­vi­ron­ment for ex­ec­u­tives, we reg­u­lar­ly ad­vise in­di­vid­u­al di­rec­tors and of­fi­cers on per­son­al li­a­bil­i­ty is­sues to re­duce their ex­po­sure to risk. The firm’s lawyers have con­sid­er­able com­pe­tence and di­verse ex­pe­ri­ence in a num­ber of Ar­eas of Ex­per­tise. In these ar­eas we have been in­volved in sig­nif­i­cant man­age­ri­al de­ci­sions, re­struc­tur­ings, merg­ers and ac­qui­si­tions and eco­nom­ic pro­cess­es by pro­vid­ing ad­vice, ne­go­ti­a­tion, le­gal opin­ions, and han­dling di­verse lit­i­ga­tion in var­i­ous fo­rums. In ad­di­tion, “new econ­o­my” ar­eas and new mar­ket de­vel­op­ments such as cor­po­rate gov­er­nance and cor­po­rate com­pli­ance, cap­i­tal mar­kets and cap­i­tal in­vest­ments, PPP-pro­jects and pub­lic pro­cure­ments in the phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal in­dus­try have be­come a core com­po­nent of our lawyers’ prac­tice. With the of­fice in Sin­ga­pore and as a mem­ber of Ter­raLex with as­so­ci­at­ed law firms lo­cat­ed in all rel­e­vant eco­nom­ic mar­kets we of­fer in­no­va­tive so­lu­tions at a glob­al lev­el. We have a strong, long-term in­ter­na­tion­al law prac­tice pro­vid­ing le­gal ad­vice on var­i­ous cross-bor­der is­sues, par­tic­u­lar­ly with re­gard to West­ern and South­ern Eu­rope, South and South-east Asia and the USA.
