The Unicist Research Institute (TURI) has been the world-leading research organization in its segment since 1976. It has been ... specialized in complexity sciences applied to the research on the roots of evolution and its application to social, institutional, business and individual evolution. The discoveries at TURI generated a paradigm shift that introduced the pragmatic, structuralist and functionalist approach to sciences. The functionalist approach is based on the fact that there is nothing in the universe, that is part of a system, which does not work with a purpose, an active and entropic function, and an energy conservation function. This triadic structure works through binary actions that produce the functionality of any entity or process, whatever its kind. This functionalist approach allowed introducing the functional design of processes, the use of binary actions to ensure results, and the building of collaborative robots (Cobots) using the unicist AI that was developed. The development of the conceptual engineering made this functionalist approach accessible to everyone. It allowed developing conceptual tools that work as cobots to develop solutions.
