The School is a non-profit organization and one of many worldwide Philosophy schools set up over the past 50 years. It draws on countless wisdom teachings to help students gain confidence in their own intelligence and recognize the unlimited potential that is available to every human being. It helps people make sense of the world. Through classes, workshops and retreats that focus on the application of universal principles of developing mindfulness, students are coached to discover the value of self-inquiry. By putting tested philosophical principles into practice in their own lives, participants journey inward to learn of their true nature and the unity that nourishes and sustains the diversity witnessed in daily life. The School provides instruction and guidance in mantra meditation consistent with the Advaita tradition – the Philosophy of Oneness. Thus, the applied experience of unity is cultivated through weekly exercises, study and meditation. Fees are kept to a minimum as capital expenditure is made possible by donations, loans and legacies from students with the means to contribute in this way. read more
