All TCN coders are independent contractors that work from home by dialing directly into EMRs, using cloud storage, secure email, fax or whichever HIPAA approved method is most convenient for our client. Like TCN, our coders are paid on a per encounter basis with fees varying by specialty. TCN coders can work a minimum of 15 hours a week allowing them to keep other jobs, but many chose to work more than the traditional 40-hour workweek.
