The Co-operative Academy of Stoke-on-Trent is at an exciting stage in its development. Seven years after becoming a sponsored ... academy we have students making continued positive progress, a much improved ethos, excellent behaviour and attitudes to learning and a “Good with Outstanding features“ accreditation from Ofsted, achieved in March 2013. Our 2014 results meant that we are in the top 10% nationally for progress - we are now designated as a ‘Leading Edge’ school due to the high levels of progress that our students make. We moved into a brand new £23m Academy building in September 2012 with many state of the art facilities, which provides an excellent learning environment for students and staff. We are a caring and supportive community; we pride ourselves on providing high challenge but also significant support for our students, whether that support is academic or social and emotional.
