In the 1980's, the school expanded its educational opportunities to include children with many secondary issues including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, developmental delays, and physical challenges. In 2008, to more accurately reflect our mission and student community, the school’s name was changed to The Children’s Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf.
