The Asiatic Society of Japan (ASJ) serves members of a general audience that have shared interests in Japan. ASJ was founded ... in 1872 to "promote and publish discoveries on subjects relating to Japan and other Asiatic Countries." There is no limit to the range of ASJ's interests.
