The Academy International School, was opened in Mallorca, Spain in 1985 with 25 children and two teachers. It originally star ... ted up as a Summer School which, due to its success and ongoing support from the parents, continued on as a preparatory school. We now have over 315 pupils following the British curriculum whose ages range from 2 to 18 years. We have been inspected by the Cambridge University Examination Board and are a recognised examination centre. We are a member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain and are inspected regularly both by British Inspectors and Inspectors from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
