Established in 1897, Thames Tradesmen’s Rowing Club has an impressive and unique history, with a reputation for producing som ... e of the finest international and club oarsmen of the last 50 years. Thames Tradesmen is a friendly, open club which accepts all abilities and is always open to new members. The TTRC squads are open throughout the year. However, the majority of oarsmen/women join in September when the season starts. We have an ever-improving range of club boats, consisting of Eights, Fours, Coxed Fours, Doubles, Pairs and Club Singles. There is a separate bay for privately-owned single sculls and blades. We have both indoor and outdoor racking space (which to our knowledge is the cheapest on the tideway!). The indoor training facilities include a large indoor gym with free weights, squat cages and indoor spin bike, a dozen ergos in a separate room and, for outdoor training, the classic Barnes Bridge to Hammersmith, Putney and Richmond Bridge runs. read more
