In October, 1990, Spanmaster was acquired and became a part of TC/A. Spanmaster had supplied overhead material handling equipment for more than 30 years, with special emphasis upon integration of crane systems into new and existing metal building systems. Patented track rail with various tread widths and in sizes for systems up to 40 ton capacity or more are available. The two outstanding features of TC/A’s systems are the patented track construction and a fully articulated trolley design. The rail tee section is precision rolled, high grade steel with a flat, raised tread on the 325 and 450 series tee; articulated trolleys provide for uniform wheel loads.
