SLIDE is designed to tackle many of the issues on campus and in our community that often go unspoken. These issues include raising awareness against sexual assault and mental health stigma. This organization is program and people oriented. SLIDE is an opportunity to create a positive and tangible impact on our campus and in our community by developing and planning events with purpose, such as Texas A&M’s Mental Health Week and Sexual Assault Awareness Week, while concurrently fostering and building relationships. read more
