OUR ORIGINS In the beginning, Sylvia P was just one dedicated mother, Sylvia Pichler, using a borrowed sewing machine to make a leotard that her daughter could wear to gymnastics class. It wasn’t until word of Sylvia’s eye-catching designs spread and she started receiving requests for custom orders that she realised she’d created a blossoming business. Fast-forward 24 years and Sylvia P is today a globally recognised brand. Our lovingly designed garments are worn by young athletes around the world, from beginners to gold medallists. OUR COMPANY TODAY Sylvia P is now the largest dedicated manufacturer of gymnastics apparel in the Oceania region. We hand-craft the majority of our products right here in Australia, which means sweatshop-free products, ethical work conditions, and of course the highest levels of quality.
