The Swiss PGA is the governing body for golf professionals in Switzerland. Founded in 1943 under the name «L'Association Suis ... se des Professeurs de Golf» the association now boasts more than 380 members. The main objectives of the association are: 1. To support and advise the members 2. To provide an education to produce qualified golf professionals 3. To provide further education 4. The organisation of tournaments and championships for professionals Together with Swiss Golf, the Independent Swiss Golfers Association (ASGI) and the Migros Golf Parks, the Swiss PGA takes an active role in the development of the game of golf and the new talent in Switzerland. The membership consists on the one hand of well educated and qualified golf teachers and on the other hand of professional golfers competing in national and international tournaments. Our members have regular contact with over 90'000 golfers at over 90 golf clubs in Switzerland. Whether as a golf coach, pro shop manager or golf director, our members are the ambassadors of the game of golf.
