The Student Forum in the Tönissteiner Kreis e.V. (SF) is a dialogue and project forum to foster international collaborations ... and create social value through our projects. Our forum is politically independent and includes members from diverse backgrounds. We are united by the conviction that social tasks must be solved in an interdisciplinary and international way. We connect internationally-minded students and young professionals in a cosmopolitanly thinking and acting network. Moreover, we offer individual space for social shaping and thus promote socio-political responsibility. In this way, we provide a platform for international dialogue between the younger generation and representatives from business, academia, politics and media. Together with our mother foundation Tönissteiner Kreis (https://www.linkedin.com/company/toenissteiner-kreis/), a network of leaders in society, we provide the framework and connections to help our members and their projects prosper. Our members proactively initiate, design and implement projects that impact society. They are all highly committed and globally minded. Coherent with our global perspective, our members often work together on one project while being spread around the world. This makes it possible to work remotely and simultaneously add societal value. Results of such projects have been shared with institutions such as the German Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs and helped students thrive in their careers and personal growth through mentoring programs. Through these experiences, our members are equipped with invaluable skills and form a vivid and diverse network of engaged peers for future projects.
