The Student Voice Network (SVN) is a FREE, VIRTUAL platform based in Australia for young people aged 12-25 from a ... cross the world to take action on social justice and environmental issues. Through our 3 different member options, we give our community the chance to lead, support and share projects on the issues that are important to them! Member Benefits: We provide a base camp of support, learning and kinship so that when one of our Project Architects decides to lead a project they are automatically connected with… - People who want to assist them - A space that can amplify their project to tens of thousands of people (through our national school’s program) - An industry mentor who will help them find their direction - Our library of resources created by other young people and professionals - A space to hold virtual meetings and keep resources - Support systems to check in with them and their workload - The legitimacy of an established platform standing by their side - Support in branding, fundraising, event planning etc. - SVN base resources (open to all members): SVN Skill Shares, Skill Swaps, mental rest, @svn.community on Instagram, Discord collaboration space etc. How do we do it? We do this by using 3 free platforms accessible to anyone with a wifi signal. We use Google Drive to keep our documents and resources. We use Discord to hold our virtual meetings and keep in contact during the week and we use Instagram for accessible updates! We have over 350 members from across the country, have helped raised thousands of dollars for our favorite charities and have supported and developed projects in climate change, sexism, racism, refugee crisis and many more!
