The aim of t ... he company was to create a national media network which rapidly came true with the launch of Drum Media (Perth) in September 2006, and the purchase of Time Off in April 2008. Soon afterwards Rip it Up was added to the network via an agency agreement. In November 2010 the Australasian Music Industry Directory called Street Press Australia home, followed soon after by Australian Musician in October 2011. Your Daily SPA, SPA’s first digital asset, was launched in March of 2011, quickly building a reputation as being the essential daily news bulletin for the industry and entertainment fans. In August 2011, Three Magazine was born out of the ashes of 3D World, the dance magazine Street Press Australia purchased in 2009. Three Magazine – ranked in the top 20 iPad magazines in the world by iMonitor was the start of the iPad revolution within Street Press. In November of 2011 all of the weekly titles release weekly iPad editions and are considered at the forefront of magazine publishing evolution. The journey that commenced in 2006 sees Street Press Australia reach, in 2012, its second major goal: the creation of a user-friendly, highly accessible music and entertainment portal called theMusic.com.au.
