Juni 1995 wurde sie gemäß Museumsstiftungsgesetz gegründet und erhält seitdem Zuwendungen vom Land Berlin. Das Stadtmuseum Berlin betreibt fünf Museen in Berlin: Das Märkische Museum, die Nikolaikirche, das Ephraim-Palais, das Knoblauchhaus und das Museumsdorf Düppel. We present Berlin’s culture and history from the very beginning to the present day. In doing so, we draw from a wealth of more than 4.5 million objects, which we have gathered in our collections. Each object tells its unique story covering almost 800 years of the city’s history.
