The mission of the Stern Political Economy Exchange (hereafter, SPEX) is to create a global community to promote the necessar ... y understanding of the complex interactions between business, politics, and economics at NYU. This shall be carried forth through a three-fold mission plan. SPEX seeks to recruit internationally focused undergraduate business students who show an interest in studying abroad and/or learning about the global political economy, shall establish permanent bases in locations including, but not limited to, the three financial centers of the world: New York, London, and Shanghai, and broadens the intellectual horizons of members by examining the cross section between the roles of government, the economy, and corporations. read more
