We are STEM-ON! (STEM Outreach Nottingham). A University of Nottingham based group of students & volunteers running science, ... technology, engineering and maths outreach and public engagement events across the city. Our team is made up primarily of postgraduate research students who design, implement, evaluate and contribute to a vast array of engagement projects for Nottingham communities, including the Nottingham Festival of Science & Curiosity, BSA's Science in The Park, and most famously, Nottingham's Pint of Science festival. As a group we place a big emphasis on the professional development of our members. We provide training, mentorship and encouragement to help our team develop skills in science communication and public engagement with research, to compliment and enhance their academic and research skills. read more
