The program will provide Affiliate Members an opportunity to engage with our world-renowned faculty and to become familiar with our students at the BS, MS and PhD levels. The program will: - Provide Affiliate Members the opportunity to interact and explore research relationships and projects of mutual interest with our world renowned faculty - Provide Affiliate Members the opportunity to increase the visibility and branding of their companies with our students, faculty and staff - Facilitate Affiliate Members recruiting of our department's coveted students - Provide students an opportunity to learn about careers with various companies in different industries - Enable Affiliate Members to keep up to date on the work of our faculty and students by attending departmental events and receiving departmental communications - Increase awareness of other research programs and initiatives across Stanford - Provide students an opportunity to learn about careers with various companies in different industries Affiliate members will be provided facilitated access to the faculty and student of both departments. Complementary research and teaching strengths of the two departments ensure that, collectively, the training of our students covers the full range of engineering applications of biology, chemistry and physics.
