Splash Design was founded in 1990 through selling Macna gloves from one square metre... from the trunk of a car! Fast forward ... to 2021, our headquarters are the heart of the business: 15.000 square metres of warehouse, showrooms and offices for all different departments: purchasing, sales, marketing, design, finance and admin. Order picking, stocking the shelves of our warehouse, unloading and loading containers and of course preparing orders to be sent off - all this for approximately 60 countries worldwide. Every day, our 20 employees in the warehouse ‘travel’ a distance of 90 kilometers together! And not to mention, the use of 16km of tape a month to securely wrap all the orders… All of this business enters, and leaves, one of our 10 loading docks. We execute this process for 26 brands in total, of which several are developed in-house like Macna and Booster and several are imported like HJC, Schuberth and Airoh. This season, 8 Macna riders are competing in the Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE world championships. The design department comprises of 14 designers who are each responsible for different parts of the design process: from product designers (clothing, 3D), to graphic designers (print/web/marketing) and CE legislation experts. Besides the headquarters, we also have two other locations. In 2016, we expanded our presence with a showroom and office in Italy, which acts as the center for the Italian market. In 2018 we expanded once again, this time in Portugal. This location will be the central point for all business regarding Spain, Portugal and France.
